In-Vehicle App

Description: Several companies collaborated to produce an application for a vehicle dashboard that would enable drivers to see statistics and vehicle status, learn information, book service appointments, and purchase goods. My team at ICON Interactive created an online tutorial version of this application to introduce new vehicle buyers and train dealership staff.

Role: UX / IA

Deliverables:

  • Content Audit: Without the ability to sit inside the vehicle itself, I gathered information about the app through screenshot videos and a tablet version. I documented and organized all of this content, including text, headers, and logos, for my team to use later.
  • User Flow Diagrams: Based on the content audit process, I mapped all buttons, choices, and corresponding pages in varying levels of complexity to ensure that our team could gain approval from central stakeholders to begin the development stage.
